dc.description.abstractLearning physics aren’t only to know the formulas of mathematic problem and solve the mathematic question, but we have to know about the basic teori and the application. The purposes of this research are to know verbal and mathematic representation ability and the increase of students’ test results during the application of inquiry model in physics learning at senior high school. In this research, inquiry model applied with authentic assessment base. This research was experiment research. It means to try a new learning model within experiment and control groups. The area of this research is decided by purposive sampling area. The sample of this research was the students’ of class XI Science Program at Tegaldlimo 1 Senior High School. The data analysis used N-gain and Independent Samples Test on SPSS 16. The results of this research show that the students’ verbal and mathematic representation ability are 0,76 and 0,89 and it includes high category.en_US
