Abstract: The traditional building which use bamboo until now is the drying tobacco warehouse. In early 2009 some drying tobacco warehouse of PT Plantation Nusantara X (limited) Kebon Ajong collapsed. This is due to poor connections between bamboo structure connections. It happens because most of the connection of bamboo structures using nails. The basic weakness of the nailed bamboo connections is create a hole in the bamboo, which can create bamboo break. At this time, for the construction of bamboo, has been widely used in producing bamboo construction skills are strong in the traditional way, such as bamboo connections using rope fiber. Construction using a rope fibers can bind more strongly to the bamboo due to the abrasive properties of bamboo. Therefore, in this final analysis and testing Bamboo frame With Variation Of Rope Fibers Convolution By comparing test results with analysis of Rope Fibers Convolution. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the behavior of each test piece of bamboo with a variety bamboo frame of Rope Fibers Convolution connection to continuous (model 1), crossed and continuous (model 2) and how continuous continuous and crossed (model 3) to the value of the maximum load (P max) and the defection. So we can get the variation of bamboo connection that provide better performance in weight-bearing lateral / horizontal. In testing bamboo frame used pedestal-free joints. The results of the test analysis showed that the bamboo frame model 1 has the smallest deflection compared bamboo frame model 2 and bamboo frame model 3. This consistent with the analysis of rope fibers convolution that resist bamboo frame model 1 can be greater than most styles and model 2 (model 3). While the maximum load, the bamboo frame model 2 has a P max is greater, but x the deflections was larger than the bamboo frame bamboo frame model 1 has the advantage of bamboo defection smaller, while the bamboo bamboo frame model 2 possessed the largest maximum load.
