Abstract: | Indonesia has 6.1 million tons/year potetial of marine fisheries. As a maritime country, Indonesia has the longest beach in the world with over 81,000km of coastline. 9261 villages in Indonesia categorized as a coastal village and most of people live in dominant in poor condition from 67.439 villages. Adaptation strategy used by fisherman to fulfill household needs in a dry season. This research aims to determine the pattern of fishing network during a dry season, marketing and financing patterns. The research area in a payangan countryside ambulu subdistrict. Descriptive method as a method used in this research, by qualitative analysis. Primary data through interviews with fisherman based on questionnaires, secondary data obtained from department and another institutions. The results showed that: (1) fisherman pattern network in dry season divided in three pattern, vertical, horizontal and diagonal networks; (2) fisherman marketing pattern of eder and jukung sailboat highly dependent on fish sales to pengamba’; (3) financing pattern of fisherman are divided into fixed cost (activity costs of fishing activities consists of diesel or petrol), variable cost ( costs incurred by the fisherman to improve or buy new gear). The government needs to help pengamba capital, in order to stop exploiting sara’an credit system to fisherman. |
