dc.description.abstractAgroindustry is one of highly prospective sectors to be developed in Indonesia. In the agroindustry sector, cassava plays an important role for the state economy. Bondowoso Regency is one of potential cassava producing regions. This is because Bondowoso Regency has an advantage that is not possessed by other regions; that is, land and climate conditions which are very suitable for cassava cultivation. These plants are used by agroindustries to be further processed into a refined product called tape. Agroindustry of prol tape and tapemade brownies is one of tape-processed foods mostly favored by people because of its unique shape and taste includes in modern and durable food compared to tape. The most famous agroindustry of processed tape such as tape-made brownies and prol tape in Bondowoso is "Kidies" agroindustry. "Kiddies" agroindustry has been established since 2002 in Bondowoso. "Kidies" is the first agroindustry in Bondowoso processing tape into new foods such as tape-made brownies and prol tape. This agroindustry of tape-made brownies and prol tape is one business that takes the opportunities in the development of tape-based businesses. The research was conducted in January to July 2011 in locations agroindustry "Kidies" City of Bondowoso.en_US
