Perbandingan Mutu Tablet Parasetamol Obat Murah Terhadap Obat Generik Dan Non Generik; Shita Anggraini, 042210101011

Abstract

Paracetamol is a medicine which have analgesic and antipyretic effect. Most of paracetamol tablet has been sold with generic name and non generic name, but on Mei 2007 minster of health create a program cheap medicine for public to go by Permenkes No.284/MENKES/PER/III/2007. This research was proposed to compare quality of paracetamol tablet 500 mg from program cheap medicine, generic and non generic. Determination of quality paracetamol tablet could be showed from standard quality of paracetamol tablet was based at USP 32 and Indonesia Pharmacope. The test of quality tablet among other things was massa uniformity test, brittleness test, hardness test, time dissolved test, dissolution test and assay. The experiment was held to 7 brand of tablet which they had consisted 1 brand of program cheap medicine, 3 brands of generic tablet and 3 brands of non generic tablet. The test resulted that every brands of tablet fulfilled standard quality of paracetamol tablet except paracetamol generic from PT. PIM not fulfill standard quality. The result of fisher test show that there is no significant difference between paracetamol tablet from program cheap medicine, paracetamol generic and non generic, it’s mean paracetamol tablet from program cheap medicine equal with paracetamol generic and non generic.
