Abstract: The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates each year in this world there are 50,000 death caused rabies with over 90% of cases was result of bites of an infected dog. Province of Bali is rabies endemic area that rabies spread effectively. Rabies eradication efforts on animals is done by vaccination and elimination. Many of the factors that led to unsuccessful rabies vaccination. The purpose of this research is to analyze the related factors of rabies vaccination on a pet dog. This research was conducted in Yeh Embang village Mendoyo district Jembrana regency with 70 sample respondents. The study was cross-sectional research with simple random sampling. Data was analyzed using logistic regression statistical tests with α = 0.05. The results showed there was a significant relationship between the sex (pvalue=0,014), occupation (p-value=0,029), number of pet dog (p-value=0,043), knowledge (p-value=0,021), attitude (p-value=0,033), health officer’s suggestion (pvalue=0,015), formal figures’s suggestion (p-value=0,021), neighbors (pvalue=0,007), and family’s suggestion (p-value=0,028) to support the granting of rabies vaccine on a pet dog. Granting rabies vaccines is a behavior that is defined by the 3 main factors predisposing, enabling and reinforcing factors. It should be more coordination between health department and Jembrana District Farm Office in practice the health promotion activity as a effort prevention from rabies disease.
