Abstract: Tuberculosis (TBC) is the one of main problem in public health. In five years, Case Detection Rate scope in Puskesmas Sukowono (Public Health Center) of Sukowono area was under indicator of National Tuberculosis Prevention Program (P2TB) which the minimum indicator of success is 70 % (Depkes RI, 2008b). There are some causes of these unsuccessful prevention program of tuberculosis were the quality of human resources and the management capabilty, especialy for program planing were less sufficient. The purpose of this study is to describe and examine P2TB management program is Puskesmas Sukowono . This research is conducted using descriptive analitical method. Interview with quiestionnaire as the instrument of this research that conducted in Puskesmas Sukowono as the unit of analysis. P2TB management program consist of planing arranging, organitation implementation, and evaluation and monitoring program. The result of this research showed that all of P2TB management program in Puskesmas Sukowono in Sukowono area in Jember district is less than what a national TB prevention program wanted. The conclution of this research is most of the functionaries that do the program didn’t fulfill the qualification of national TB prevention rules, so that Puskesmas Sukowono need to give training that comply with the national standar qualification of the TB Prevention program, with the result that the CDR coverage can be reach.
