Abstract: This study investigates the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach with Articulate Storyline on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of Grade XI high school students in the topic of organ pipes and syringe. The research aims to address the issue of low quality education and the lack of critical thinking skills among students. The study utilizes a mixed-methods research design, including pretest-posttest control group design and qualitative analysis of students' perceptions. The experimental group receives instruction using the CTL approach with Articulate Storyline, while the control group follows conventional teaching methods. The data collected includes pretest and posttest scores, as well as students' feedback on their learning experiences. The results show that students in the experimental group demonstrate significantly higher improvement in critical thinking skills and learning outcomes compared to the control group. The qualitative analysis reveals positive perceptions and engagement among students in the experimental group. The findings support the effectiveness of the CTL approach with Articulate Storyline in enhancing critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. This research contributes to the field of education by providing evidence of the benefits of incorporating interactive multimedia tools and a student-centered approach in teaching.
