| Abstract: | Efforts to increase the value of soil fertility can be done by calculating the nutrient balance. Evaluation of the nutrient balance of N, P, K is a way to determine the balance between nutrients entering and leaving the soil. This study aims to determine the level of availability of essential nutrients in the soil on intensified paddy fields for corn farming and assess the balance of nutrient balance in corn farming on intensified paddy fields. A simple nutrient balance calculation is calculated based on the amount of input nutrients (fertilizer + soil) minus the amount of output nutrients (soil after harvest + crop yield). Based on the results of soil chemical analysis, it shows that overall at the research location, the results of soil chemical testing show that the availability of essential nutrients such as N-Total, P-Available, K-dd, and C-Organic decreased during harvesting which can be caused by the taking of essential nutrients by plants for growth and development. The value of nutrient balance of N, P, K, in the six locations experienced an imbalance because the amount of nutrients entering the soil and the amount of nutrients leaving the soil is not the same value so that the value of nutrient balance of N, P, K, is positive and negative. |
