This research explores the relationship between the type of wood used as a beehive box and the resulting honey production. The five types of wood chosen for this research were mahogany, ironwood, meranti, sengon and teak. The main objective of this research is to determine the effect of nest box wood types on propagules and honey production by stingless bees. The research was conducted at the Jember University Agrotechno Park, Jember, East Java, which is known to have climatic conditions that support bee cultivation. The results showed that the type of wood used as nest boxes had a significant impact on stingless bee propagules and honey production. The highest production of stingless bee honey was found in the mahogany wood treatment at 6.4 ml, ironwood, 3.2 ml, meranti 2.4 ml, sengon 4.7 ml and teak 3.6 ml.en_US
