Pemberdayaan Kelompok Sumber Gading Ceria melalui Program Membina Ekonomi Keluaga Sejahtera (MEKAAR) di Desa Sumber Gading Kecamatan Sumber Wringin Kabupaten Bondowoso

Abstract

Community empowerment, especially women's groups, is one of the important efforts in improving welfare and quality of life. This study aims to describe the empowerment process of the Sumber Gading Ceria group in Sumber Gading Village, Sumber Wringin District, Bondowoso Regency. And to describe the impact of empowering the Sumber Gading Ceria Group. The research method used is qualitative with an observation approach, in-depth interviews and documentation methods. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment process of the Sumber Gading Ceria group has been running well, marked by increased capacity and equalization of community income, increased community independence, and increased community concern. as well as growing awareness of the importance of women's empowerment. The process or stages of community empowerment include: identifying and assessing regional potential, preparing group activity plans, implementing plans and monitoring the process. The presence of PNM Mekaar Sumber Wringin in Sumber Gading Village until now is certainly used as a reason to carry out empowerment.
