Abstract: This research aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes using the Discovery Learning model and the case study Problem Based Learning model for class XI IPS students at SMAN Umbulsari Kab. Jember on material about business entities in the economy. This research uses a quantitative approach, which has the aim of proving facts, testing theories, stating relationships between variables. Researchers used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design which is included in the Quasi Experiment Design. The data collection methods used in this research are tests, interviews and documents. The results of this research show that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes using the Discovery Learning learning model and the case study Problem Based Learning learning model for class XI IPS students at SMAN Umbulsari Kab. Jember In the Material of Business Entities in the Economy, it is proven that student learning outcomes using the problem based learning model are higher than learning outcomes using the discovery learning model.
