Abstract: | In this era of increasingly advanced technology, the coffee bean drying system still relies heavily on conventional drying systems. Either using direct solar energy or a mechanical drying system with fuel as a main supply of energy. This paper presents to observe and analyze from electrical energy side based on method that drying coffee beans as dielectric material using solar panels or photovoltaic and microwave. The output power of the PV result is based on the time that PV gets irradiance, from 7.00 AM to 17.00 PM. Other than that hour, the output power of PV is zero because the value of irradiance is zero. At 7.00 AM the output power of PV is 175,898 W. At 12.00 PM, the output power of PV is 4099,2 W. At 17.00 PM, the output power is 27,7344 W. The power value of the boost converter at 7.00 AM is 50,1018 W. The highest power value is 1192,63 W at 12.00 PM. The lowest power value is 7,376 W at 17.00 PM. The lowest power of the inverter is 23,303 W at 17.00 PM. The highest power is 3612,109 W at 12.00 PM. The initial humidity value is 60%, the initial mass 667,5 kg, and assume that the mass at a time is 557,5 kg, the value of humidity at a time is 52,11% and the result of moisture or water content is 10.88%. |
