Abstract: Introduction: Early marriage remained an unresolved issue despite the implementation of early marriage prevention programs. The social environment was an inseparable part of human life and influenced an individual's mindset and attitude. This study aimed to determine whether there was a correlation between social environmental factors and the prevention of early marriage among adolescents. Method: This study was correlational quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach, using cluster sampling among adolescents aged 15–19 years in Jenggawah Subdistrict, Jember Regency. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with the Spearman correlation test. Results: The correlation test results showed a p-value of <0.0001, with an r-value of 0.203, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted (there was a significant correlation between social environmental factors and the prevention of early marriage). Analysis: The prevention of early marriage was significantly influenced by social environmental factors such as community and peer groups. This was affected by variables such as age, religion, ethnicity, and family income. Positive influences from the social environment contributed to effective early marriage prevention among adolescents. Discussion: The implementation of early marriage prevention should emphasize the social environment of adolescents, such as creating an environment that supports formal education for children.
