The coffee-based agroforestry system has the potential to support ecosystem services, including increasing the diversity of insectivorous birds that can aid in coffee pest control. This study aims to analyze the diversity of insectivorous birds and vegetation in coffee agroforestry areas. Observations were conducted using a purposive sampling method at non-overlapping points, employing the scanning method in the morning (06:00–08:00 WIB) with a duration of 20 minutes per point. Vegetation diversity analysis for trees and undergrowth was carried out using quadrat methods of 10 m x 10 m and 1 m x 1 m, respectively. The results showed that the dominant insectivorous bird species in each location were the Linchi Swiftlet (Collocalia linchi) in Pace and Sukosari villages and the Sooty headed Bulbul (Pycnonotus aurigaster) in Kaliwining village. Dominant tree vegetation included Sengon in Pace village and Coffee in Sukorejo and Kaliwining villages, while dominant undergrowth included Shiny Bush in Pace, Horse Purslane in Sukorejo, and Bamboo Grass in Kaliwining. Diversity index analysis revealed varying bird and vegetation diversity, with the diversity of insectivorous birds being moderate. Pearson correlation analysis indicated that tree and undergrowth vegetation diversity did not significantly correlate with insectivorous bird diversity (P-value > 0.05). However, ambient temperature significantly influenced insectivorous bird diversity (P-value = 0.020) with a very strong correlation (-0.999). This study concludes that temperature is a significant environmental factor affecting the diversity of insectivorous birds in coffee agroforestry areas.en_US
