Abstract: | The challenges faced during clinical learning will allow Ners professional students to experience stress which has an impact on the failure of professional learning. Hardiness can shape a person's ability to become stronger and more confident when facing difficult situations. The purpose of this study was to identify academic hardiness in Ners professional students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Jember assessed using the modified Graduate Students Academic Hardiness (GSAH). This study used descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population was 165 students and used the entire population as a research sample with total sampling technique. The instruments used were demographic questionnaires and modified Graduate Students Academic Hardiness (GSAH) questionnaires. The results showed that the academic hardiness of Ners Professional students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Jember was in the moderate category as many as 126 students (76.4%) and the high category as many as 39 students (23.6%). Therefore, students need to pay attention to several indicators of each situation faced during the Ners professional education in order to increase hardiness in facing academic difficulties. |
