Abstract: Global warming is a natural phenomenon of increasing temperatures on earth globally. The causes of climate change are accelerating including industrial and human activities. The impacts of climate change are ecosystem changes, sea level rise, floods, and droughts. Factors that can affect global warming include forest degradation and deforestation, which can lead to increased carbon dioxide emissions. Increased carbon sequestration and decreased carbon emissions are one of the ways to reduce the impact of climate change. This research aims to determine the potential of carbon stock stored in cocoa fields. This research used the stratified random method to determine the sampling plot points. Calculation of tree biomass and dead tree necromass using allometric equations. Empirical observation method for dead wood necromass. For sampling understory, litter, and soil using destructive methods. The potential carbon stock in Kendenglembu cocoa farm is 10,674.78 tons. Average of total carbon stock in the plot of 48.52 tons/ha. The range of estimated values of population parameters using the confidence interval equation with a 95% confidence level of the average potential carbon stock per plot in the Kendenglembu Cocoa Farm population is 29.37 tons/ha to 67.68 tons/ha.
