dc.description.abstract | Mathematics subjects are contextually present in students' real lives, many mathematical problems are encountered in everyday life. Potential or power is really needed to solve things related to mathematics in everyday life, namely the potential to analyze, formulate and solve problems faced in a creative and innovative form, which can be called mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy is the ability to formulate mathematical problems, apply concepts, interpret problems and evaluate answers. Mathematical literacy is used as problem solving in everyday life. The importance of contextual mathematical literacy is that students are able to solve problems in everyday life, according to relevant mathematical problems so that they can develop the ability to formulate problems into practical mathematical forms, use and interpret them into effective solutions. This research was conducted to analyze or describe the mathematical literacy abilities of class II students at SDN Citrodiwangsan 01. Based on the type of research data, and the phenomenon or problem studied, this research took the type of descriptive research. This research uses data collection methods, namely tests and interviews. The results of the first literacy component research were by analyzing the components of the three literacy test questions, including the average good qualifications. The results of the research on the second literacy component were by applying concepts based on the components of the three literacy test questions, including the average good qualifications. The results of the third literacy component are by reinterpreting the results based on the components of the three literacy test questions, including the average good qualifications. The research results show that the majority of students fulfill the first literacy component, namely analyzing based on the elements of the three literacy tests. Based on the results of the analysis of the three components of mathematical literacy, it can be concluded that the average student is in the good category, so that the mathematics literacy of class II students at SDN Citrodiwangsan 01 Lumajang is classified as good. | en_US |
