Abstract: Maxillofacial trauma can be caused by falls, sports injuries, assaults, car accidents, and work-related incidents. Studies show that work-related maxillofacial injuries account for 1.6% to 9% of incidents. Since most of its workers work in the agro-industrial sector, Indonesia is at greater risk of accidents caused by agro-industrial work equipment. This study describes an unusual case of maxillofacial injury in a rice mill worker, we also documented work-related maxillofacial injuries in the literature review over the past 20 years. A 53-year-old woman working as a farmer came to the emergency room with complaints of facial pain due to trauma.
