dc.description.abstractIndustry knows UD. Jamhari is the largest industry with the highest number of employees and production in Jember Regency. Jamhari's industry has 14 employees and produces 60 containers/day. This industry has also used imported soybeans from the United States. This study aims to identify and examine the background of the establishment and dynamics of the tofu industry at UD. Hours of 2001-2021. This research was conducted in East Darwo, Gebang Village, Kec. Patrang – Kab. Jember. This study applies historical research methods consisting of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study are the history of the establishment of UD. The Jamhari industry consists of 3 phases, namely the first phase during the 2001-2005 period during initial growth, the second phase during the 2006-2017 period during established regeneration and expansion, and the third phase during the 2018-2021 period during closing or aging. Factors in the establishment of the tofu industry UD. Jamhari is an initiative to improve the family economy, there is experience in the industrial sector and soybean raw materials that are easy to find. Industry knows UD. Jamhari experienced dynamics in production and marketing from 2001-2021. The equipment used is always evolving, capital fluctuates, production capacity adjustments impact the number of workers, and the method of making tofu from its inception until now has not changed at all. Based on the research results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that the establishment of the tofu industry by UD. Jamhari is motivated by geographical, economic, family, and raw material factors. The dynamics of the tofu industry UD. Jamhari encompasses development, change and continuity.en_US
