The instrument used to collect the data was a reading comprehension test. The data was analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test on the SPSS computing program. The result showed that the value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.178, higher than 0.05. Consequently, it could be revealed that the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected.
