Pemanfaatan Pojok Baca dalam Peningkatan Minat Baca Anak di TK Dharma Indria 1 Jember

Abstract

Reading corner is a special room in the school where students, instructors, and parents gather to foster a love of reading in the younger generation. Reading interest is someone who feels the urge or desire to do reading activities. Research that has been conducted by researchers regarding the use of reading corne in increasing children's reading interest in Dharma Indria 1 Jember Kindergarten can be concluded that the condition of children's reading interest in Dharma Indria 1 Jember Kindergarten is quite good, half of the number of students in group A and group B visit the reading corner every day to fill their free time. Students often fill their free time reading in the reading corner even though some children still cannot read. This is because the collection of books in the reading corner provides many picture books. The books provided in the reading corner are quite varied. The arrangement of books, the decoration of the reading corner is also quite interesting for children so that children are interested in reading books in the reading corner.
