Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Bondowoso pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Bab 7 untuk Siswa Kelas IV SDN Andungsari 1

Abstract

The development of comic learning media based on Bondowoso local wisdom aims to introduce and instill noble values of Bondowoso local wisdom in Indonesian language learning chapter 7 Origins. The research objectives are to describe the process of developing comic media based on Bondowoso local wisdom, and to describe the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of comic learning media based on Bondowoso local wisdom in learning Indonesian language chapter 7 for grade IV students of SDN Andungsari 1. Learning media is a tool or object that is used in education to convey messages, knowledge, and learning materials to students. Comics are a series of illustrated stories with simple dialog so that they can convey information to readers. This type of research is a development research “Research and Development” with the Borg and Gall model. The methods used are observation, interview, questionnaire, learning outcomes test, and documentation. The feasibility of comic media is obtained from the assessment of 3 expert validators, namely language, media, and material validators. The validity of this comic media showed a result of 95.38 with the category “Very Feasible”. The effectiveness of comic media showed a result of 88.23% with the category “Very Effective”. The practicality of comic media obtained a result of 95 with the interpretation of “Very Practical”. The results of this study indicate that this Bondowoso local wisdom-based comic learning media is valid, effective, and practical for use in learning Indonesian Language Chapter 7.
