The 2020 YLBHI report explained that 67 cases of religious blasphemy that have occurred in Indonesia. Many cases of blasphemy that occur originate from speech, both verbal and written. The absence of references in speaking in public, especially on social media and in the realm of religion, which is a sensitive matter for Indonesian society, has resulted in many cases of religious blasphemy occurring. In fact, religious blasphemy cases use different punishment articles. The aim of this research is to find patterns of speech in religious blasphemy cases and to find the relationship between the suspect's speech and the punishment articles used in a case. This research is forensic linguistic research with qualitative descriptive content methods and the help of pragmatic and context analysis. The research results show that there are forms of insults, slander or accusations, and provocation in speech delivered in an assertive, expressive and directive manner. The relationship between speech and the sentence used is that the speech pattern is the main point in determining the article used, while the context of the suspect is the main point in determining the sentence. Changes in variables or context elements can change the meaning or message of an utterance. Understanding the context of an utterance then becomes an important thing that must be understood by both the speaker and the interlocutor, because this greatly influences the meaning or meaning of an utterance, especially in cases where the utterance is used as legal evidence.en_US
