Abstract: This study aims to calculate the analysis of static and dynamic stability on a 2 GT fiberglass fishing boat that was built without going through the design process. In this study, researchers used the method of calculating ship stability software analysis. This study calculated the stability of the boat which was varied with four load states and with six boat states when there were waves. The results of this study indicate that the 2 GT fiberglass fishing boat made has bad stability. It is because of the boat contain too much fish and the boat doesn’t built by its design, calculation and stability analytic then it come to bad stability, wich from IMO criteria ,the boat fail to pass the value needed. From the criteria of area angle stability and the minimum GZ. This situation could tell that this ship has a bad stability. So it is dangerous to sail whit it contain. From the stability analisys by the waveform ,the writer put the wave height from 0,5 meter to 3 meter, wich it had 30 meter wavelength. From the analysis caculation, this boat with all of waveheigth, doesn’t have a good stability. From the calculation, the boat are fail to pass the IMO stability number one to number four. By it analysis and calculation, we can conlude that this boat cant pass the wave with a good stability from 0,5 wave height to 3 wave height based from the IMO criteria .
