Abstract: Cucumber is a horticultural commodity that is often consumed and cultivated in Indonesia. The level of cucumber production in Indonesia has increased from 2018 to 2021, but in 2022 cucumber production has decreased. In 2018 cucumber production was 433,931 tons, in 2019 it was 435,975 tons, in 2020 it was 441,286 tons, in 2021 it was 471,941 tons. In 2022 production will decrease to 444,057 tons (BPS, 2022). Increasing cucumber production can also use urban farming, one of which uses a hydroponic system. The hydroponic system really needs a planting medium as a place for the growth of the plant root system so that plant growth is maximized by using the right planting medium. This study used planting media in the form of cocopeat, husk charcoal, and wood charcoal. In addition to using planting media, this study used MKP concentrations of 270 ppm, 420 ppm and 570 ppm. The addition of monopotassium phosphate concentration with all treatments had no effect on the yield of cucumber production. The planting medium has a significant effect on all research variables except for fruit diameter. Cocopeat had a significant effect on cucumber production compared to rice husk charcoal media and wood charcoal media. The interaction between the addition of monopotassium phosphate concentration and the planting medium had no significant effect on cucumber production.
