Abstract

Tourism refers to the activity of visiting a place undertaken by individuals or groups for a specific period of time. One promising sector in the tourism industry to be developed is the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions). An example of this is the Event Organizer, which is responsible for designing an event from start to finish.The venue management officer team is one of the organizational structures within an event organizer. In the organization of events at Imagine Promosindo, the venue management officer team plays a crucial role in conducting venue surveys, handling permits, managing crowds, coordinating event management, providing customer service, and establishing and maintaining workplace safety. Imagine Promosindo follows a venue management flow in event organization that includes the following steps: receiving the event brief and meeting with clients, conducting meetings and follow-ups, conducting venue surveys, handling permits, engaging with stakeholders, budgeting, presenting, negotiating, managing related matters, following up with stakeholders, executing the event, generating reports, and conducting evaluations.
