Abstract: The protracted conflict between the Yemeni government and the Houthi group has exacerbated a humanitarian crisis, resulting in widespread poverty, malnutrition, and limited access to essential services. This conflict has significantly hindered the realization of children’s rights, including safety, health, and education. The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated vulnerabilities among Yemeni children, increasing the risk of malnutrition, disease, and educational disruption. In response, UNICEF has intensified its support effort. This study analyzes UNICEF’s role in upholding children’s rights in Yemen during the COVID-19 pandemic, employing qualitative methods to analyze secondary data from literature, websites, and relevant documents. Findings describe UNICEF’s critical role in providing humanitarian aid, educational, and health services despite security challenges and evolving needs. The study underscores the importance of international support to enhance UNICEF’s efforts in Yemen, highlighting implications for policy and practice.
