Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether or not there was an influence of the STEM approach on student learning outcomes in theme 5 sub-theme 1 of class II measurement material at SDN Banjarsengon 02. This research was an experimental study using a quasi-experimental research pattern with a non-objective design. equivalent control group. The subjects used as the research sample were all class II students at SDN Banjarsengon 02. Class IIA was the control class, class IIB was the experimental class with a total of 37 students. 20 students in class IIA, and 17 students in class IIB. The research instruments used were as follows: 1) pretest and posttest question sheets; 2) learning tools in the form of lesson plans and worksheets. Data analysis which includes normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain score test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed, both classes were included in the homogeneous class, the second independent sample t-test test showed that t-count ≥ t-table, which was 3.657 ≥ 1.648 and significance at sign.(2-tailed) = 0.001 which means sign.(2-tailed) ≤ 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the learning outcomes of students using the STEM approach in the experimental class and the learning outcomes using the scientific approach in the control class theme 5 sub-theme 1 measurement material for class II SDN Banjarsengon 02.
