Abstract: | The development of website-based online classes is increasing, including Islamic-based online classes. The tasqif.com website is one of the platforms providing online learning based on Islamic tsaqofah, whose discussions include the Qur'an and Hadith, aqidah, fiqh, muamalah, dauroh kitab, business, economics, sharia, marriage, parenting, history and civilization, self-development and also da'wah skills. However, the use of the tasqif.com website encounters various User Interaface (UI) and User Experience (UX) problems that make users feel uncomfortable and inefficient when using it. Therefore, this research aims to redesign UI/UX using the Design Thinking method. Design Thinking was chosen because it is considered capable of solving complex and ambiguous problems, and this method can explore various possible solutions by involving users as the main subject. There are several stages in Design Thinking including empathize, define, ideate, prototype and testing. The results showed that the results of redesigning the UI/UX of the tasqif.com website using the Design Thinking method were able to improve the quality of the user experience. This is evidenced by the results of testing conducted using the User Experience Qustionneire (UEQ) method with an average value for each attribute, namely, attractiveness 2.24 (excellent), perspicuity 2.25 (excellent), efficiency 2.23 (excellent), dependability 2.28 (excellent), stimulation 2.10 (excellent), and novelty 1.8 (excellent). The redesign of tasqif.com website is expected to be a reference for further research development in the form of system development or building system design. |
