dc.description.abstractIntroduction: One of the worldwide health problems is nutrition. Childcare practices that occur within a household through the provision of food, health care and other resources for the survival, development and growth of children. Objevtive: This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal parenting and feeding patterns in stunted children in the Sumberjambe Health Center working area, Jember Regency. Methodology: This research uses a correlative with a cross sectional study design. The number of samples in this study was 94 with the sampling technique used was random sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire of maternal parenting and feeding patterns. Results: The results of the maternal parenting variable are most of them have good parenting patterns, occur in toddler age 13-36 years, on average with male gender, maternal employment as a housewife with maternal age 21-35 years with the number of children 2 people, the last education is elementary school, the number of children is 5 people, and feeding patterns mostly have inappropriate feeding patterns. The correlation between maternal parenting and feeding patterns was statistically significant (p = 0.0001, r = -0.577). Conclusion: The results showed that there was a highly significant relationship between maternal parenting and feeding patterns in stunted children in the Sumberjambe Health Center working area, Jember Regency. Therefore, further information and education is needed regarding maternal parenting and feeding patterns in stunted children to prevent malnutrition.en_US
