This study employed a Classroom Action Research approach, utilizing a cyclical design. The objective was to ascertain the efficacy of a picture series in enhancing students' narrative writing proficiency. The study population comprised the ninth-grade class B at SMPN 1 Pasuruan during the 2023/2024 academic year. Data was gathered through a writing assessment and observation. The data was analyzed, and the results demonstrated that 85% of students achieved the standard score, which was the successful criterion of the research (a score of 75 or higher). These findings indicate that the use of picture series can enhance the writing achievement of ninth-grade students at SMPN 11 Pasuruan in the 2023/2024 academic year. It is therefore recommended that English teachers, students and future researchers make use of the results of this research as a reference.en_US
