Abstract: Metacognitive abilities and critical thinking skills of high school students in Indonesia tend to be low. An appropriate learning model is needed to hone students' metacognitive and critical thinking abilities. The learning model that can be applied is Problem Based Learning which is a problem-based learning model related to everyday life and the surrounding environment. Problem-based learning can hone students' skills in finding a solution to a problem through a thought process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted with the Liveworksheets application on the metacognitive abilities and critical thinking abilities of high school students in industrial agricultural areas. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method in a high school located in an industrial agricultural area with data analysis using ANACOVA. The results of the study show that the problem based learning model assisted by Liveworksheets can significantly improve the metacognitive abilities and critical thinking skills of high school students in industrial agricultural areas.
