dc.description.abstractThis study aims to redesign the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) in the Public Service System (SIPRAJA) Sidoarjo using User Centered Design (UCD) method. Observation and pre-research interviews were conducted with Sidoarjo regency government and SIPRAJA users to identify problems related to the interface and user experience. The results of observations show the lack of comfort, convenience, and understanding of users in using SIPRAJA services. Therefore, a UI / UX redesign is needed to improve the display which is better and easier for users to understand. Initial evaluation of user experience using the user experience questionnaire (UEQ) showed that there were deficiencies in perspicuity, dependability, efficiency, stimulation, attractions, and novelty, with scores below average. In the redesign, the User Centered Design method is used to correct these shortcomings. In the first phase of the prototype evaluation, 9 problems and 13 improvement suggestions were found. Further evaluation using UEQ showed an increase in the value of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty, with values that indicate good quality. Thus, this study can improve the UI / UX of SIPRAJA and provide convenience and comfort for users. UI / UX redesign using User Centered Design method can be an effective step in improving the user experience in using electronic-based government services such as Sidoarjo Public Service System.en_US
