The education system in Indonesia has undergone changes due to several factors such as the trends in 21st-century education and the impact of the post-COVID-19 pandemic. These changes have resulted in a shift in students' learning behavior towards different learning styles. With the end of the pandemic, students have returned to face-to-face learning, leading to the loss of certain learning behaviors adopted during the pandemic period. This, in turn, may result in a decline in students' thinking abilities. Purpose in this research was to develop a valid, practical, and effective hypermedia-based e-module on the topic of the digestive system in the form of a paste. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This method follows the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development in this research includes the hypermedia-based e-module, learning instruments, creative thinking tests, and argumentation tests. The validity is assessed through the validation of the media, instruments, creative thinking tests, and argumentation tests. The effectiveness is measured by analyzing the students' responses. The effectiveness is determined through pre-test and post-test methods for creative thinking tests, and argumentation tests with predetermined criteria. The results of the validation indicate a "highly valid" criterion with an average score of 95. The practicality, based on student responses at each session, obtained an average score of 90 with a "highly practical" criterion. The effectiveness, measured through pre-test and post-test scores, showed values of 0.61, 0.55, and 0.56 for small, large, and scattered classes, respectively, with a "moderate" criterion. The creative thinking scores ranged from 80-90, indicating a "very high" criterion. The average scores for argumentative skills in small-scale pilot testing, limited testing, and subsequent deployment stages were 0.71, 0.76, and 0.79 respectively, falling under the moderate category. From these two results, it can be concluded that hypermedia-based e-modules on the human digestive system material were valid, practical, and effective in improving the creative thinking and argumentation skills of junior high school students.en_US
