Abstract: | Humor is one of the techniques to attract the attention of the audience so that the message can be received and conveyed properly. This article discusses how actors with mise en scene elements contribute to the creation of humor in the Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders commercials. The Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders is a YouTube commercial produced in 2019. Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders ad is a comedy ad that tells visualizations about funny mistakes or commonly referred to as bloopers made by actors or crew when shooting takes place. The Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders advertisement has a creative concept that presents pieces of deleted scenes and dialog, especially funny mistakes that tickle the audience. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive methods. The results of the study are the humor contained in the Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders advertisements found in the aspects of mise en scene, narrative elements, and cinematography. Humor is further categorized based on humor creation techniques to be more specific to get the dominance of humor categories that stand out in advertisements, thus proving that the mise en scene aspect is able to create humor in the Bloopers version of Head & Shoulders advertisements. |
