Abstract: | Creative thinking skills are one of the competencies that students must have to face the challenges of the 21st century. Creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes have decreased due to the pandemic so that efforts are needed to improve creative thinking skills and learning outcomes, one of which is the use of interesting learning models. The study aimed to determine the effect of Brain-Based Learning model used Mind Mapping and Quizwhizzer on creative thinking skills and learning outcomes of high school biology. This type of research was a quasi-experiment. Data were obtained based on pre-test and post-test questions and observation sheets. Data analysis used 2 tests, namely ANAKOVA test of creative thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes and Independent Sample t-Test of affective learning outcomes and psychomotor learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of creative thinking skills, cognitive learning outcomes, affective learning outcomes and psychomotor learning outcomes, the significance <0.05 was <0.001, <0.001, 0.002, and 0.005 respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of Brain-Based Learning model used Mind Mapping and Quizwhizzer on creative thinking skills and learning outcomes of high school biology. |
