Abstract: | Biology learning is learning that requires a high level of understanding, so an appropriate learning model is needed. One effort to create an interesting and enjoyable learning environment is to use a brain-based learning model with additional media, namely magic card pictures and wordwall. This research aimed to determine the effect of the BBL model used magic card picture and wordwall media on student interest and learning outcomes. The research method used a type of quasi-experimental quantitative research. The data analysis used was ANAKOVA for students' learning interest and cognitive domain learning outcomes. Learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor domains used the independent sample t-Test. The results of student interest in learning have a significance of 0.001<0.05. Learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains respectively had a significance of <0.001, 0.002, and 0.004 <0.05. Therefore, it could be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which meant there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in student interests and learning outcomes. |
