Abstract: Critical thinking is an skills possessed by every student that is useful for developing their thinking skills through reasoning. The Problem Based Learning learning model is a learning model that is suitable for developing students' critical thinking skills by providing roblems at the beginning of learning to stimulate their thinking. This study aims to describe the critical thinking ability of students in the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The method used in this study uses a descriptive method. The subjects in this study amounted to 35 students of class XI Marketing 3 at SMK Negeri 4 Jember who were grouped into high, medium and low groups. Data in this study was obtained through written test results and also interviews. The indicator used to determine the level of critical thinking skills uses six indicators such as focus, reason, inference, situation, clarity and overview. The results of the analysis of the test data showed that the achievement of critical thinking skills on average occupied the medium category with an average percentage of 81%. This is indicated by the focus indicator which occupies the highest percentage of 87%, meanwhile, the indicator that occupies a low percentage is the clarity indicator of 76%.
