Analisis Curah Hujan dengan Memanfaatkan Data Citra Satelit Terhadap Prediksi Banjir di Wilayah Kalibaru Banyuwangi

Abstract

The Kalibaru District of Banyuwangi rarely experiences flooding, but in the span of November 2022 the Kalibaru area experiences quite severe flooding, so there are several factors that influence it. Research conducted in the Kalibaru Banyuwangi area using the Himawari-8 satellite image data shows that the Kalibaru Kulon/Malang Sari stations in October and November experience high rainfall, the Kalibaru Manis/Sumberwuni stations and the Kalibaru Wetan/Kalibaru Kidul stations experience rainfall. The highest rainfall occurs in November, while the Kalibaru Manis station has high rainfall in October. The results of the rainfall record data obtained an overview showing the average rainfall with high intensity that fell in the Kalibaru area to occur in November 2022. However, the results of using satellite imagery data cannot predict flooding in the Kalibaru Banyuwangi area because the data generated is forecast data for weather conditions in the study area which generally shows only cloudy weather with a chance of light rain.
