dc.description.abstract | The Biodiesel plant with raw material in the form of Calophyllum inophyllum L. seed oil is designed with a capacity of 285,000 tons/year with an operating time of 330 days/year. Calophyllum inophyllum L. seed oil as the main raw material for a biodiesel plant requires 464,791.4989 tons/year with a yield percentage of 63.1%. The process of producing biodiesel from nyamplung seed oil has 5 stages, namely extraction, esterification, neutralization, transesterification and purification. The main product produced from this factory is FAME with a purity of 98.34%. In addition, this factory also produces side products in the form of Glycerol and Calcium Sulfate. Factory employees needed to operate this factory amounted to 229 people. The results of the evaluation of economic analysis, it can be concluded that the Annual Cash Flow (ACF) obtained from this factory is US$ 12,249,343.55 (84.36%), Pay Out Time (POT) is 1.5 years, Net Profit Over Total Lifetime of The Project (NPOTLP) US$111,432,916.4, Total Capital Sink (TCS) US$129,656,915, Rate Of Return (ROR) 75.36%, and Break Even Point (BEP) of 57.61%. | en_US |
