Abstract: | Aedes aegypti have been shown to be vectors of demam berdarah dengue. Therefore, it is necessary to control the mosquito population by killing Aedes aegypti larvae with more environmentally friendly materials (bioinsecticides) such as using a mixture of Catharanthus roseus and Cymbopogon nardus. This study aims to determine the LC50 toxicity of mixed extracts of perwinkle leaves and lemongrass leaves to Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae within 24 hours of exposure by making mixed extracts by maceration process using 97% ethanol solvent so that they can extract the compounds present in leaf. The test was carried out by inserting the larvae into the extract which had been dissolved with distilled water at each concentration series that had been determined. LC50 maintenance was carried out using probit analysis in SPSS software where the results showed that the higher the concentration used, the higher the mortality rate of Aedes aegypti larvae with an LC50 value of 841.399 ppm with a lower limit of 705.306 ppm and an upper limit of 933.677. This means that the mixed extract of periwinkle leaves and lemongrass leaves used is toxic to Aedes aegypti larvae |
