This research was conducted from April to June 2022. This research activity included data collection by means of observation, interviews, measurement, and documentation. The number of samples studied were 71 traders. The data obtained were analyzed using the Chi Square test and presented in tabular and narrative form. The results of the analysis of the relationship between personal hygiene and health complaints showed that skin hygiene (p=0.067) and hand and nail hygiene (p=0.058) in traders were associated with complaints of diarrhea, skin cleanliness in traders was also associated with skin diseases (p=0.004) , while hand and nail hygiene was not associated with skin disease (p=0.525). The conclusion in this study is that there are still variables in the sanitary conditions at the Kepatihan Traditional Market that do not or do not meet the requirements according to Permenkes No 17 of 2020 concerning healthy markets. Health complaints felt by traders at the Kepatihan Traditional Market in Jember Regency were diarrhea and skin diseases.
