Assimilation is the process of fostering prisoners and children which is carried out by assembling prisoners and children in society. Integration rights are the provision of parole, leave before release and conditional leave. The provision of assimilation and integration from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for prisoners and children is one form of prevention and control from the dangers of the spread of COVID-19, especially since the number of prisons and detention centers in Indonesia is already overcapacity to the point of extreme overcrowding. the provision of originalization and integration for prisoners and children has also been appropriate and included in the effort to achieve the goals of the Relative Theory in Indonesia, namely the theory that provides punishment as a form of self- improvement of the perpetrators who get punished so that they can shape prisoners and children to be able to return to society. supervision and release of prisoners who receive assimilation and integration programs in the context of preventing Covid-19 that occurred in Indonesia is in accordance with the Correctional Law, because it is regulated in Article 14 Paragraph (1) that prisoners and children have the right to get the opportunity to assimilate and have the right to for parole or integration.en_US
