Abstract: This research was conducted to investigate students' perceptions and evaluate their attitudes regarding to the use of video-based learning (VBL) for teaching and learning listening. This research applied qualitative case study method with 10th grade students at senior high school as the participants. The researcher collected the data by observing for two meetings, collected the documents needed, distributed the questionnaire, and held the interview to gain in-depth information about students' perceptions and attitudes dealing with the use of VBL for listening. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke (2006). In particular, to analyze the questionnaire, the researcher used the formula from Atmojo (2006) and Microsoft excel to make it easier to interpret the data. The results showed that students' perceptions are in line with their attitudes. Therefore, VBL contributed positively to students' perceptions and attitudes on the teaching and learning listening.
