Abstract: Farmers as their activities in fields and its exposure with many dangerous chemicals, such as pesticides becoming risky to have many health problems. One of the health problem due to farming activities is a skin integrity disruption. Occupational skin disease is a skin disease caused by exposure to chemical substances in the workplace environment. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with impaired skin integrity to farmers. This study was a cross-sectional study with 93 respondents obtained by cluster sampling. Data was gathered using two questionnaires. Data analyzed by using chi-square with 95% CI. The result showed that there was a relationship between usage of PPE with skin integrity disorder of farmers (p: 0,001; α: 0.05). Therefore, it is concluded that usage of PPE can reduce the risk of skin integrity in farmers. It is important to educate farmers to obey with their risk during work at the field and how to reduce it by using PPE.
