dc.description.abstractThis book has critically examined the complex issue of protecting religious minorities within Islam in Indonesia within the context of international human rights law and Islamic law. This concluding chapter provides a summary of the research !ndings and, on the basis of those !ndings, recommends at the end an integrated legal spectrum as a means of effectively protecting the religious rights of minorities within Islam in Indonesia. Firstly, the chapter summarises the general insights of the book on the problematic position of religious minorities within Islam generally and the role and responsibility of Muslim-majority states in that regard.
