Abstract: Insulating oil pick the many standards for testing to test the insulating oil insulation either new or have been used (maintenance), such as breakdown voltage, dielectric losses, relative permittivity, and testing by the method of DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis). DGA is a method of testing performed to test the insulating oil state by taking samples from the unit transformer insulating oil to determine the types of gas dissolved in transformer insulating oil. DGA is one step preventive maintenance but object insulating oil which is done only consider the results TDCG (Total Dissolved Combustible Gas) without considering other types of gas contained in transformer insulating oil such as hydrogen gas, methane, ethane, ethylene, acetylene, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide . Insulating oil situation will be resolved by using Fuzzy Logic. Fuzzy logic analysis performed for insulating oil state would be more accurate than if done by simply analyzing the gas concentration TDCG.
