Abstract: In 1899,Kate Chopin wrote her masterpicce.the Awakening,about a wife who leaves her family for her love to another man. The Awakening is considered to be one of the first feminist books and one of the greatest novels of kate chopin. The novel tells about Edna Pontellier,the main famale beroine of The Awakening,she is Ahousewife of a successful Creole stockbroker,Leonce Pontellier with two children.
