Pengembanga n Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada Materi Getaran, Gelombang dan Bunyi
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of developing student worksheets (LKPD) based on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) on Vibration, Waves and Sound. The research method used is research and development. The LKPD development process was adapted from the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis phase includes analysis of needs and curriculum. The design stage consists of preparing the validation sheet instruments, learning implementation sheets, pretest-posttest sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The development stage is used to develop the required and validated LKPD. The implementation phase is used to find out the practicality of the LKPD from the implementation of learning sheets assessed by the observer and the effectiveness of the LKPD from the student response questionnaire to the LKPD as well as the pretest and posttest sheets. Based on the results of the validation assessment, an average score of 92% was obtained with a very valid category. The results of the practicality assessment of the use of LKPD obtained an average score of 89.44% in the practical category. Furthermore, the results of the effectiveness assessment through a student response questionnaire were 95.17% and showed a very good response to LKPD. The results of the pretest-posttest assessment show an average N-gain value of 0.55 in the medium category. That is, there is an increase in the average value of higher order thinking skills from pretest to posttest in field trials. The evaluation stage is used to review the results obtained from the design, development and implementation stages. It can be concluded that the development of HOTS-based worksheets on Vibration, Waves and Sound material produces valid, practical and effective worksheets for use in science learning in junior high schools.
